ADB Companies Summer Internship Program

Keeley Companies offers an interactive internship experience that empowers interns to gain hands-on experience and fully immerse themselves in the world-class Keeley culture. Interns work alongside proud Keeley'ns including executives, team members, craftspeople, and other interns to apply knowledge learned in the classroom and to develop a better understanding of the industry.

With the goal to create the next generation of Keeley’ns, the internship program across Keeley Companies is truly unlike any other. Implementing our strategic process, KeeleyWay, into the internship program allows our interns to create visions, set goals, and hold themselves and each other accountable. From day one, interns are welcomed into the Keeley Family and are empowered to drive results, thus unleashing their potential.

This summer, ADB Companies was proud to have twelve interns across different business and support groups. Interns were able to fully immerse themselves into the world of telecommunications, utility construction, project management and more. From working in the field and maintaining utilities, to supporting our recruiting team, interns were able to take on tasks and learn more about what it takes to be #ADBALLIN. When asked how their summer at ADB went, one intern responded,

“This internship was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life thus far. I was pushed out of my comfort zone to develop new skills and create relationships with employees outside of my designated department. I got the opportunity to learn how the HR and Recruiting departments work together as well as the tasks and responsibilities associated with each position. I have developed both life skills and professional skills, all thanks to the individuals at ADB that invested in my internship.”

This learning experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity for college students with dreams to work in the industry. The most valuable asset that ADB Companies had to offer was the ability for interns to take on roles and responsibilities across the company. From day one, interns are empowered to take leadership of their projects and work alongside team members, brainstorming ideas and creating solutions as ADB works to maintain and upgrade our nation’s technology infrastructure.

The culture of Keeley Companies provides unique opportunities for interns to learn and grow. The ability to get real-world experience while still in school is a valuable asset to have and our internship program offers just that! Whether it is creating visions or working with group leaders to ensure a project is ran smoothly, the interns at ADB Companies were able to learn the ins and outs of the industry and create a new generation of Keeley’ns!
